I asked Bella for help in achieving a ‘pipe dream’ and not only did we succeed, I went on to exceed all expectations of myself! Dedicated and motivational – she never once let me down and the training plans were always tailored perfectly, unlike a lot of coaches ‘copy and paste’ approach.
Dean Edwards UKI would highly recommend training with Stephen and Bella. Excellent structured sessions for the specific athletes requirements. My son and I have had a brilliant few days training with Bayliss Multisport. Thanks guys
Adam Bloom UKAfter years of volunteering for Ironman Lanzarote, I decided to enter the event at the ripe old age of 53 and with no previous triathlon experience. With Bella and Stephen’s patient and comprehensive training programme, I not only achieved my goal to finish, but I was able to enjoy every moment of the day and to cross the line with a big smile on my face. If you’re serious about being the best swimmer, cyclist or runner (or all three!) you can be, then you should work with Bayliss Multisport. No nonsense, tough training, that will push you hard, but will mean you can race easy.
Mike Cliffe-Jones LanzaroteIt was absolutely amazing camp!! We got precious tips to improve our swimming and future training. And above all, we enjoyed training with you in these stunning sceneries of Andorra. You really are world-class coaches!
Raija Polvinen Finland, Andorra campThank you Bella and Stephen for giving us a truly memorable tri camp experience! In addition to you both being very accomplished triathletes, you also have a very pleasant, caring and clear way of coaching. I got a lot to think about from our sessions. It was also very inspiring to hear your stories from your pro careers. Thank you!
Jani Argillander Finland, Andorra campThe 2020 Triathlon Camp surpassed all my expectations. I have done some 70.3’s and shorter distances but not had any formal training and end up always doing the same sort of pace and time whatever the course. I was nervous about coming to a camp as I thought it would be full of ‘club hero’ types. Instead I met the very accomplished but very humble and encouraging coaches Bella and Stephen and a great mix of lovely people who I loved spending the week with. Bella and Stephen teach you great simple skills to take your training to a new level and you can’t help but be inspired by them. Yes, already booked 2021 as loved it so much!
Louise Sproule UK, Camp ReviewTriathlon camp January 2020 - we spent an absolutely great training week in Lanzarote. We were a small group of English and Swiss athletes, with very different personal goals. Our coaches managed the different needs so good, that all of them were satisfied and we learned and trained a lot. To live together in the same Villa for one week was cool. We were cruising around the whole island with our bikes, were swimming in 25m and 50m pools and in the sea. They showed us different kind of trainings and how you get faster in each discipline. Bella and Stephen can be even more proud of what they do now, than on their incredible careers as top athletes - I will be back, for sure!
Bettina Steiger SwitzerlandI attended the Bayliss’s multisport training camp at the beginning of January 2020. After 3 months of dull, wet, miserable weather in the UK, it was so needed. The venue was superb, beautiful surroundings and facilities at Villa Paraiso, and hosted wonderfully by Debs and family. The training from Stephen and Bella was just excellent. Although a small group, we still had different requirements, and Stephen and Bella adapted the training for each of us. From myself, relatively fit, but 65 years old female, with lung problems and bringing a virus (not Covid) with me. To a world champion marathon runner, training for a May Ironman. I was so grateful not to feel left out, as I couldn’t run or bike with the group, and I didn’t want to hold anyone up. But Bella organised great bike rides for me, and I was able to hike the run routes. Swimming wasn’t such a problem, and I enjoyed a couple of great sea swims (18 degrees!), and excellent coaching in a 50 metre pool. This really made a difference to my swimming.
Gail Coverley UKThanks for an amazing camp Stephen and Bella. We had perfect conditions, perfect weather, perfect coaches and perfect company. Our group was so much fun! I was one of the weaker athletes in the group but I never felt left beside or treated different. Bella and Stephen did an amazing job by giving me so many helpful tips and a lot of motivation to keep on going. I am looking forward to joining again January 2021. Thanks again and see you soon
Sabine Müller-Buser GermanyWe were looking for some winter training somewhere warm, and that catered for mixed abilities. We’d both previously competed in age group Sprint triathlons and were looking for a kick start to our season starting in May 2020. We were so fortunate to find Stephen and Bella’s triathlon training camp at TriSports Lanzarote on social media. We had watched Stephen Bayliss win at Sherborne in 2008 at Ironman UK so we didn’t hesitate in booking. We formed great friendships with like minded people also on the camp, whilst receiving valuable guidance and technical advice on swim, bike and run training, in a fabulous setting. We have booked for next January already, Stephen & Bella are a lovely kind couple with a fantastic business in Lanzarote . We felt so lucky to attend the Bayliss tri camp.
Karen and Andrew Sims UKSuch a supportive, encouraging, hardworking team. If you are a Pro/age grouper triathlete and in need of improvement. Bella and Stephen have over 20 years experience with over 20 x ironman wins, world champion and record breaking race-course achievements they show they are the best in the business. For beginners who want a taste of fitness through triathlon training, this encouraging team can only bring out the best in you. For kids, wanting to get fit and healthy through swim, bike and run, gaining confidence, making new friends… what more could you want. There’s something for everyone.
Claire Leadbeater LanzaroteI can recommend Bella Bayliss!!! After a shoulder operation in February, I decided to take Bella as a coach to get fit again. It is great, to get my training plans and to be in good hands. I feel so much better and you always encourage me to keep on going. Great motivation, thank you!
Sabine Müller-Buser GermanyBella has been a fantastic triathlon coach for the past few years. Being a busy mum of 3 children, especially during the school holidays, Bella has been very understanding and been able to provide me with bespoke and sensible training plans in preparing me for the various races I’ve chosen. She is fantastic at daily communication and is a very motivating coach. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with Bella and been very happy with top 10 age group positions in nearly all my Middle distance and Ironman races. My partner and I also had a great triathlon training camp experience with Bella and Stephen in 2020, we gained a lot of fitness after our week with them and also had a lot of fun in the beautiful sunshine. Thank-you Bella for your time, support and wonderful energy.
Judith Phelan UKIn 2016 with Bella as my coach we took on the Ultraman World Championships in Hawaii. This is a 3 day event Day 1 - 10km Swim / 145km Cycle Day 2 - 275km Cycle Day 3 - 84km Run ( Double Marathon) Besides making sure I was adequately prepared to cover the distance, Bella was also conscious of still including change of pace and efforts in my training and preparing me specifically for the course and conditions. Long Back to back days with a focus on hydration and fuelling were included often. We also adjusted my regular 7 day training schedule to a 10 day block in order to get in what I needed each cycle It is pretty awesome to be able to call myself an “Ultraman World Champion” and I thank Bella so much for getting me in the best shape to achieve that!
Kate Bevilaqua AustraliaI always wanted to try and make a post baby come back but I knew with all my other commitments I needed help if I was going to try and get round IM lanza...I’ve always been inspired by Bella’s work ethic and I loved that she is a Scottish girl who used to go to pony club ...felt we were similar albeit very different life paths...I am sure I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in April thanks to her advice...I would 100% recommend her&Stephen’s coaching and would say no matter how busy you are in they will work round your other commitments to give you the best chance at whatever you are aiming for
Jennifer Stewart ScotlandWhat started in lock down as a goal to get back into triathlon, developed into a mission to complete an Ironman. After various tumultuous life events it seized me as something I needed to accomplish, despite the fact it seemed to me to be an impossible goal. Bella was my coach for the best part of a year, my second year of training. She knew exactly what I needed to do, even as a 55 year old picking up a sport I had last done in my twenties! Every week I had a tailored training plan from Bella to work through designed around what I was doing that week at work etc, what I'd done in training the week before and what I needed to do to achieve my aim. With Bella's constant guidance and encouragement I gradually built up my fitness, despite various set backs including a badly sprained ankle at one point. I did two half ironman distance events and an olympic distance event along the way to build fitness and put into practice what Bella taught me based on her immense experience and success as a high performance athlete. It was so helpful to have that. I never missed a training session for lack of motivation. I really enjoyed my training and working with Bella. In September 2022 I completed Ironman Wales. It wasn't impossible after all. Thank you Bella!
Myles Blewett UKBella and Stephen are some of the best things that have happened in my triathlon career. After a few quiet years, raising a family, I became part of Bayliss Multisport. I have a busy life with a job that demands a lot and two small children. The personal training plans are really good, as it makes use of the training opportunities I have and when I am prevented, my training plans are quickly updated. So far this has resulted in me qualifying for the Ironman World Championship twice and once for the 70.3 World Championship, something I didn't think was possible after my training time was cut in half compared to before I had kids. So my training has not just become more effective it is also more motivating with many different training sessions. I cannot recommend Stephen and Bella enough - they are fantastic coaches and have become lovely friends.

After 2 years in Triathlon I started to train with Stephen Bayliss. Thanks to him I achieved one of my biggest goals: Finishing Ironman Kona this year. Beside of this achievement I had always podium places in Ironman and always first places in Half Ironman. And lots of podiums in smaller run races, duathlons etc. Stephen’s training brought me to Kona. I‘m very happy with his plans. Stephen does not only provide me with good plans every week, he is a sensitive coach, he gives me self-confidence and a great portion of good feelings, what you need, if you invest so many hours in training. I have family and he knows how to handle it when my calendar is full. He integrates race ideas from me in the plan and is very open for suggestions. I‘m very happy and proud to say: Stephen is my coach! 49 mum to 2 boys.
